Singer Chamois Coupe

The Singer Chamois launched in October 1964, is the luxury version of the Hillman Imp (made since 1963). The car was available as a 2-door saloon and a coupe. Being a premium version of the Imp, Singer Chamois was more expensive and offered some additional features, such as a distinctive false grille.
The coupe bodyshell was similar to the standard body but featured a more steeply raked windscreen and rear window which, unlike that on the standard bodied cars, could not be opened. For marketing reasons in many export markets, the Singer badged cars were sold as Sunbeams, even before May 1970 when the Singer marque was discontinued altogether by Chrysler UK.

Będąc luksusową wersją Hillmana Imp, Singer Chamois był od niego droższy i miał kilka wyróżniających go detali m.in. inny grill.
