Ford Thunderbird

The first generation of Ford Thunderbird was introduced in 1955 as a response to the Chevrolet Corvette. It was a sporty 2-seat convertible, which was positioned by Ford in a new segment - Personal luxury car. The car used a 4.8 V8 petrol engine which accelerated the car to 177-190 km/h.  Some interesting features of the Thunderbird included a telescoping steering wheel, pushbutton interior door handles and a tachometer. Altogether Ford sold 53 166 units of the Thunderbird between 1955 and 1957. In 1958 a second generation was introduced.

Pierwsza generacja Forda Thunderbirda zadebiutowała w 1955 roku jako odpowiedź na Chervroleta Corvette. Thunderbird był usportowionym, 2 miejscowym kabrioletem, który został umiejscowiony przez Forda w nowym segmencie rynku – Personal Luxury Car (ang. Osobisty samochód luksusowy). Auto korzystało z benzynowego silnika V8 o pojemności 4.8, rozpędzając Forda do maksymalnych 177-190 km/h.  W Thuderbirdzie zastosowano kilka ciekawych (szczególnie jak na tamten czas) rozwiązań technicznych, m.in. teleskopową kierownicę oraz obrotomierz. Między 1955 a 1957 rokiem wyprodukowano 53 166 egzemplarzy Forda Thunderbirda pierwszej generacji. W 1958 r. pokazano drugą generację.

Hyundai i30

The first generation of Hyundai i30 was introduced in 2007, during the Geneva Motor Show. The car shares its platform with the Kia Cee`d. Hyundai i30 was available as a 5-door hatchback and an estate named i30 CW with 6 engines (3 petrol and 3 diesel). The car was facelifted in 2010, receiving new headlights, front and back bumpers and a new grille. Hyundai i30 was manufactured at the company's manufacturing facility in Ulsan, South Korea, Beijing, China and in Nošovice, Czech Republic. It was produced until 2012, when the second generation of i30 was introduced.

Pierwsza generację Hyundaia i30 przedstawiono w 2007 r. Podczas targów motoryzacyjnych w Genewie. Auto dzieli płytę podłogową z Kią Cee’d. Hyundai i30 dostępny był jako 5 drzwiowy hatchback oraz kombi i30 CW. Do wyboru było 6 silników: 3 benzynowe i 3 diesle. W 2010 model otrzymał lifting obejmujący nowe reflektory, przednie i tylne zderzaki oraz wlot powietrza. Hyundai i30 wytwarzany był w fabrykach w Ulsan w Koreii Południowej, w Pekinie w Chinach, i w czeskich Nosowicach. Produkcja trwała do 2012 roku, do momentu przedstawienia następcy.

Renault Twingo GT

The second generation of the Twingo was first shown as a prototype in 2006. The production version was presented at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show and the car went on sale in June 2007.The model is based on the floorpan of the Renault Clio Mark II, with significantly improved strength and crash protection. The Twingo is offered with three engines, 1.2 petrol (available in three versions: 8 valve, 16 valve and 16 valve turbocharged) , 1.5 dCi diesel and 1.6 133hp petrol available from 2008, but only in the Twingo RS. In the French market there are 6 trim levels: basic one (unnamed), Authentique, Expression, Initiale, Dynamique and GT. In 2012 Renault Twingo received a major facelift which included new front and rear bumpers, new head and taillights, larger Renault badge, and also new colours and alloy wheel designs. The facelifted Twingo is also the first car to wear the new design of the French car maker.

Druga generacja Renault Twingo  zostało zaprezentowana podczas międzynarodowej wystawy samochodowej w Paryżu w 2006 roku jeszcze jako prototyp. Wersja produkcyjna zaprezentowana została podczas tagrów motoryzacyjncyh w Genewie w 2007 roku a do salonów weszła w czerwcu tego samego roku. Model bazuje na płycie podłogowej Renault Clio II, odpowiednio wzmocnionej by zapewnić lepsze bezpieczeństwo. Twingo oferowane jest z trzema silnikami: benzynowym 1.2 (w wersji 8, i 16 zaworowej oraz z turbodoładowanej), dieslem 1.5 dCi i benzynowym 1.6 (133KM) oferowanym od 2008 r. w sportowej wersji Twingo RS. Na francuskim rynku, samochód oferowany jest w 6-ciu wariantach wyposażenia: podstawowy (bez nazwy), Authentique, Expression, Initiale, Dynamique i GT. W 2012 r. Twingo przeszło poważną modyfikację. Auto otrzymało nowe zderzaki z przodu i z tył, nowe przednie i tylne światła, większy znaczek Renault oraz nowe kolory karoserii i wzory felg. Twingo po liftingu jest też pierwszym modelem który otrzymał nowy design francuskiej marki.

Chevrolet Niva

Chevrolet Niva is an off-road vehicle manufactured by GM-AvtoVAZ (joint venture between AvtoVaz and General Motors).The car was presented as a prototype called VAZ-2123 Niva in 1998 at the International Car Show in Moscow. Until June 2001, the car was sold under the name Lada 2123 Niva. The first Chevrolet Niva exited the Russian factory in Togliatti in September 2002.Although the body and the interiors are new, it is still based on the old VAZ 2121 engine, transmission and most mechanicals. In 2009 the model received a minor update, featuring a slight restyling, done by Bertone studio and some minor changes inside the car.

Chevrolet Niva to terenowe auto produkowane przez GM-Avto VAZ (joint venture między AvtoVAZ a General Motors). Zostało przedstawione jako prototyp VAZ-2123 Niva w 1998 r. na międzynarodowej wystawie motoryzacyjnej w Moskwie. Do czerwca 2001 r. samochód sprzedawany był pod nazwą Lada 2123 Niva. Pierwszy Chevrolet Niva opuścił rosyjską fabrykę w Togliatti we wrześniu 2002 r. Pomimo że nadwozie i wnętrze są nowe, pojazd bazuje na starym silniku VAZ-a 2121 oraz większości jego podzespołów. W 2009 r. model otrzymał niewielkie modyfikacje. Zmieniono lekko wnętrze oraz lekko przestylizowano nadwozie, czym zajęło się studio Bertone.

Polski Fiat 125p was manufactured between 1967 and 1991 in Poland, under a license agreement with Fiat. Polish cars differed in detail from Italian ones; most visibly there were four round headlights instead of two square ones. The Polish cars, also had a safer flat fuel tank above the rear axle. Polski Fiat 125p was available as a saloon, estate, pickup and a convertible used by the tourist bureau in Warsaw for sightseeing. Two maing engine variants were available: 1300 (1295cc, 60 hp) or 1500 (1481cc, 75 hp). The estate version won the 1978 "Estate Car of the Year" award in the United Kingdom. The 125p was also a successful rally car, taking part in Monte Carlo Rally, Press-on-Regardless Rally and many more. In total 1,445 689 cars were made, and from that 874 966 were exported.

FSO Polonez Caro Plus

FSO Polonez was made between 1978 and 2002 in Poland (and also in Egypt between 1983 and 1992). Designed by Centro Stile Fiat and Polish engineers and designers, the Polonez was based on the Polski Fiat 125p, using most of its technology and engines. Polonez was updated on many occasions, the last facelift being done in 1997 with the help of Daewoo, when the the car was named Polonez Caro Plus. The changes included redesigned interior and exterior with better equipment, new engines and paints. It was available as a liftback, saloon (Atu Plus), estate (Kombi), and a pick-up truck.

FSO Warszawa 224

A Polish car, manufactured by FSO (Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych) between November 1951 and March 1973. It was the first mass production car, made in Poland after the Second World War. It was built under license of the Soviet GAZ - M20 "Pobeda". The model has had major and minor changes and updates all through out its lifetime (the first update being made in 1957). In 1964 Warszawa 223/224 was introduced - an update version available as a saloon and an estate version appeared in 1965. In total, 254 471 models were made.
